I moved to Florida two months ago, and I have yet to find a job. It's not because I haven't tried, and I'm pretty sure it's not because the words "Do Not Hire" are tattooed on my forehead, either.
I'm kind, hard-working, smart and honest. I'm reliable, versatile and I have open availability. I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the difficulty involved in acquiring a stable job in this crumbling economy.
You need an education to get a good job, but you need money to get an education. You need a good job to get money, but again, you need an education to get a good job.
I have been fumbling around in this ridiculous circle for far too long. Every job ad I see that looks promising requires years of experience, which I do not have. How can I get my foot in the door if no one opens it to let me in to begin with?
I'm not asking for a break. I just want a chance. Has that really become too much to ask?
