WESLEY CHAPEL - A man with a truckload of friends is wanted in connection with a Friday afternoon bank robbery that netted an unspecified amount of money.
Just after 3:30 p.m., a black man standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 250 to 300 pounds entered the Wachovia branch at 1911 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. and demanded cash, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office reported.
The suspect, who did not display a weapon, then fled in a white Ford Expedition with several passengers aboard, sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said.
The robber is thought to be 25 to 35 years old and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, baseball cap and prescription glasses, according to Tobin.
Anyone with information is asked to call (727) 844-7711.
