A 25-year-old Zephyrhills man has been accused of having two 16-year-old girls perform a sex act on him in a Wesley Chapel motel room.
Gilbert Hernandez of 37046 Pepper Drive was arrested Monday on two felony charges of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. The incident occurred Oct. 24 at a Best Western at 5639 Wesley Chapel Blvd., and detectives began investigating when administrators at the girls' school learned about it, sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said.
One of the girls apparently met Hernandez online and had communicated with him on MySpace and arranged a meeting, Doll said. She brought along a friend, the spokesman said.
The girls told detectives they performed the sex act in a room Hernandez rented, an arrest affidavit stated. They identified him from a photo lineup, according to a sheriff's report.
Hernandez was being held Tuesday at the Land O' Lakes Jail with bail set at $20,000.
