Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon on U.S. 301, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.
The wreck happened about 4:30 p.m. near the entrance to Hillsborough River State Park in Thonotosassa.
One person died from injuries from the crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Conditions of the other two involved, as well as the identities of those involved, were not immediately available.
