BRING YOUR KILT: The 10th annual Zephyrhills Celtic Festival and Highland Games will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Zephyr Park on State Road 54 West.

A parade will begin at 7 p.m. today along Fifth Avenue in downtown Zephyrhills and will feature pipe bands, cars, clans and more. After the parade, there will be entertainment, food and beverages at Time Square.

Entertainment will include The Wyndbreakers, John Murdoch, McGinley Irish Dancers, The Holigans, Rathkeltair, Bobby Murray, The Wild Highlanders, and Tampa Bay Pipes and Drums.

There also will be solo and group music and dance competitions, a car show, children's games, and the Highland Games, including athletic competitions such as the hammer throw and the clachneart, or stone of strength, comparable to shot put.

FOR A CAUSE: A car wash and garage sale to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in San Antonio will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Growers Fertilizer Corp., 12128 U.S. 301. It is being hosted by the relay's Team Scotland, one of numerous teams planning to participate in the Relay for Life on April 17 at San Antonio City Park.

The theme of the relay is "Celebrating Birthdays Around the World."

CHECK OUT THE CARS: Cruise-In Dade City will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. in downtown Dade City. Hosted by the Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce, the monthly cruise-in brings thousands of classic and specialty cars to the area around the historic Pasco County Courthouse on Meridian Avenue.

There will be food vendors and music. Many downtown stores and eateries will be open and feature "first Saturday sales."

FREE FLAPJACKS: The Volunteer Way food bank, International House of Pancakes restaurants and Knights of Columbus will sponsor a free pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus hall, 5850 K of C Drive, near U.S. 19 and Ridge Road, Port Richey.

The Pasco County Health Department will provide free swine flu vaccinations.

Seasonal flu shots are available free to those covered by Medicare or $25 for people who aren't.

Vaccinations will be given on a walk-in basis.

Children's activities will include face painting and sketches.

BENEFIT BAZAAR: Atonement Lutheran Church, 29617 S.R. 54, will host a community bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring the wares of more than 30 local vendors.

The event will offer free blood-pressure checks and children's activities such as a petting zoo and pony rides. There will be a bake sale and food booth.

Proceeds will benefit the Al & Bea Bidwell Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Helping Hands and Christian Social Services food pantries. Thrivent Financial Services will match the amount that is raised.

SHOW RESCHEDULED: Because of severe weather, downtown Longleaf, which is off Starkey Boulevard and just north of State Road 54 in New Port Richey, has rescheduled the concert "Legends on the Road" for 7 p.m. It is a Johnny Cash tribute featuring Dave Smith. A resident of the area, Smith began impersonating Cash at age 16 and has been playing his music for 48 years. The event is free, and there will be a drawing and horse-drawn carriage rides. MOOSE SUPPORT HOSPICE: The Dade City Moose Lodge will hold its fourth annual hospice benefit from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the lodge, 17107 U.S. 301. The benefit will feature a chicken and pork dinner for $6. Takeout will be available.

There will be live bands, an auction, door prizes and drawings for a rifle and grill. All proceeds will benefit HPH Hospice. For information, call (352) 567-9762.

BARBECUE BENEFIT: Team USA, an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team from San Antonio, will hold a fundraiser that will include a barbecue dinner, corn-toss tournament, redneck horseshoes, silent auction and drawings at the San Antonio Restaurant, 32625 S.R. 52.

The dinner, noon to 3 p.m., will include pulled-pork sandwiches, coleslaw, baked beans and iced tea for $5. There will be $1 draft beer available.

Registration and practice for the corn toss tournament will begin at 11 a.m., with the tournament starting at 1 p.m. The registration fee is $30, and winners will receive cash prizes.

Registration for redneck horseshoes will begin at 11 a.m., with a tournament that involves throwing toilet seats as horseshoes beginning at 1 p.m. Registration is $5, and cash prizes will be awarded.

There will be a silent auction throughout the day, with the winning bids announced at 4 p.m. Items will include a week stay at a Steamboat Springs, Colo., condo and a week at a house in Maggie Valley, N.C.

A disc jockey will provide music. All proceeds will benefit Relay for Life in San Antonio.

Takeout and dine-in dinners will be available. Team USA member Grace Smith and her husband, Jim, owners of San Antonio Restaurant, are sponsoring the dinner.

BREAKFAST IS SERVED: Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520, 9135 Denton Ave., Hudson will serve breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon. A varied menu, cooked to order, will cost $4.50 for adults and $2.50 for children younger than 10. For information, call (727) 863-2520.

GUYS, PUT ON THE HEELS: Men are invited to participate in the "Walk A Mile in Her Shoes Men's March" on March 13 during the Founders' Day Parade in downtown Zephyrhills. The walk involves men wearing women's shoes, either flats or heels.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the parade at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $10. Teams of five or more can register for $5 a person. Women and children can participate at no cost. Men are encouraged to decorate the women's shoes they will wear. Prizes will be given for the best shoes.

JAZZY TIME: Tickets are available for the Dan McMillion Jazz Orchestra performance on Thursday. The show will begin at 8 p.m. at the Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel.
