ROLLICKING RAGTIME: "An Evening of Ragtime" will be held at 7 p.m. at the Pioneer Florida Museum, located a mile north of Dade City off U.S. 301. Music by John Royen of New Orleans will be featured. ART ON DISPLAY: The Zephyrhills Art Club will hold its annual art show from 1 to 5 p.m. today; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Alice Hall Community Center in Zephyr Park on State Road 54 West. The show is open to the public.

FOLKSY FUN: The annual Will McLean Festival will be at the Sertoma Youth Ranch, located northwest of Dade City off County Road 41. Sponsored by the Will McLean Foundation, the festival honors the "father of Florida folk" with the weekend festival featuring entertainment by Florida's best songwriters and singers. There will also be music demonstrations and workshops, arts and crafts, poetry and storytelling, and Florida cracker foods.

Weekend tickets at the gate are $35. Individual day tickets are $15 for today; $18, Saturday; and $15 Sunday. Children younger than 12 are admitted free.

MORE RAGTIME: The Ragtime Festival will be hosted from noon to 4 p.m. at Agnes Lamb Park, off Meridian Avenue between Edwinola Way and Eighth Street in downtown Dade City. The Dade City Youth Council is hosting the festival. For information, call (352) 523-5052, ext. 322.

BLOOMING CITY: The Dade City Garden Club will feature a "Salute to Dade City" for its annual flower show and plant sale, to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dade City Garden Club, 13630 Fifth St. The show will pay tribute to early settlers, the city's agricultural background and local traditions. Other features will include the plant sale, gardening demonstration on plant propagation throughout the day, a pruning demonstration at 11 a.m., tours of the 2-plus acres of the club's gardens, and a drawing for a handmade potting bench. PLANT SALE: The Nature Coast Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society is having a native plant sale during March for Parks from noon to 4 p.m. at Cabin 1, Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park, New Port Richey.

Free literature and nursery information will be available, as well as native plant books for sale. Members will be available to answer questions. There will be a plant profile for each plant purchased; purchased plants can be stored for later pickup, and carts will be available for plant transportation.

GOSPEL HITS: Clay Sink Baptist Church will present a concert by The Telestials at 6 p.m. The Telestials, celebrating 37 years in gospel music, is an award-winning Southern gospel music group from Nashville. VIVA ITALIA: The Richey Community Orchestra will present "Viva Italia!" at 3 p.m. at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge, New Port Richey.

Guest soloists are soprano Susan Falcone and tenor Robert Lischetti. Derek Weston and Robert Boyd conduct the 50-piece orchestra, which is a mix of professional and amateur players.

HAVE SOME PIG: The semiannual "Famous Pig-Roast" will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Zephyr Masonic Lodge 198, F & AM, at North Avenue and 12th Street, Zephyrhills. The dinner will include pork barbecued on-site, with sauerkraut, baked beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls and butter, dessert, and coffee or iced tea. The cost is $7. TIME IN A BOTTLE: A dedication ceremony for the Zephyrhills centennial time capsule will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the flag pole on Veterans Walk in Zephyr Park, off State Road 54 West. Included will be skydivers, a mayor's proclamation, sealing ceremony and flyover. The time capsule is being presented by the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce, the city and Zephyrhills Spring Water Co. The dedication ceremony is sponsored by Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, Staples Inc. and Main Street Zephyrhills, organizer of the Founders' Day centennial celebration.
