A 28-year-old Tarpon Springs woman was arrested by Pasco County sheriff's detectives Tuesday, accused of stealing checks and credit cards and then going on a shopping spree at several grocery stores, convenience stores and gas stations in west Pasco County.
Charges against Rachael Theresa Fisk include grand theft, two counts of scheming to defraud, one count of fraudulent use of a credit card, three counts of violating felony probation and one count of failing to appear in court.
Fisk is on probation for similar charges in Pasco and Pinellas counties.
Pasco detectives say that in November, Fisk stole checks from two people and forged 19 of them for purchases at grocery stores totaling more than $1,500. Fisk also stole two credit cards from a third victim and made nearly $300 in purchases at gas stations and a Publix supermarket in New Port Richey, according to the reports.
The victims all know Fisk either directly or through a friend, the reports state.
Fisk, of 1416 Lonesome Pine Lane, is being held without bail at Land O' Lakes Jail.
