A man on a bicycle tried to abduct a young girl in Plant City, but she fought off her attacker and ran away, police said.
The girl, described by police only as a juvenile female, wasn't injured.
The attack took place on the 2000 block of Spooner Drive, police said.
The man described as 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds with black hair. He was last seen riding a blue bicycle with a white basket in front and was heading north on Mobley Street from Spooner Drive.
