Live music from the Big Band Era with lots of jazz will be included in a show to celebrate Plant City Entertainment's 30th anniversary.
Director Jennifer Jackson and musical director Nick Folkes said they have assembled some of the area's best singers, actors and musicians for the trip down memory lane. The band will play some of Glenn Miller's best dance music and the community theater's own Andrews Sisters will belt out some of the greatest songs of World War II.
All this and more will be presented at three performances, at 8 p.m. Feb. 19 and 20 and 2 p.m. Feb. 21. Doors open an hour before each performance.
The musical celebration will take place at the new home for Plant City Entertainment, 101 N. Thomas St., near First Presbyterian Church of Plant City.
Tickets are $10 for general admission; and $8 for audience members 55 and older and students through the 12th grade.
Tickets will be available at the door prior to each performance.
Advance tickets and group rates available at Hardee's Fashions, 1501 N. Wheeler St.
