Keep teens entertained
A game zone for teenagers will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bruton Memorial Library, 302 W. McLendon St., Plant City.
The event includes video games and snacks and is open to students in grades 6 through 12.

Calling all singles
The Strawberry Singles Club's weekly dance will be from 8 to 11:30 p.m. at the Stardust Dance Center, 1405 S. Collins St., Plant City.

Take in all the chrome
Antiques, hot rods and other vehicles will be on display from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Strawberry Classic Car Show.
The show, centered on McCall Park at Collins and Drane streets, Plant City, includes music, food and craft vendors. Many downtown specialty shops and restaurants are open for the event.

Stafford to stir memories
Jim Stafford, known for such 1970s hits as "Spiders and Snakes" and "My Girl Bill," will perform at Red Rose Inn and Suites, 2011 N. Wheeler St., Plant City.
Stafford has had a lengthy career entertaining through his music and comedy.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a full-course meal. P.J. Leary and the Las Vegas Sounds will play before and after the Stafford show.

Jam out for a cause
The Southern Rock Jam, to benefit Protect Children Inc., will be at 7 p.m. at the Hillsborough County Cattlemen's Building , 6404 County Road 39, south of Plant City.
Money raised during the event will pay to produce literature that will warn parents and youngsters how to avoid becoming victims of sexual predators.
The event features an evening's worth of music by Gary Keeler and other local musicians, along with food and merchandise vendors. Each vendor donates a gift card or an auction item to benefit Protect Children Inc.
This year, Darrell Gleason of Seffner, who runs CrackerBoyz Concessions, teamed up with his musician son, D.J. Gleason, and friend Don White to donate a new Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul Junior 1957 Re-issue guitar in Lemon Drop yellow for a $5-per-ticket drawing.
Tickets for the Southern Rock Jam are available at the gate for $10. Participants are invited to bring chairs for the event.
To get there, take State Road 60 to County Road 39, south of Plant City, then go south for about a mile. The Cattlemen's Building is across from Hopewell Funeral Home on the east side of the road.

Suzanne LaRusch's portrayal of Lucille Ball in the one-woman play "An Evening With Lucille Ball: Thank You for Asking" continues through Sunday in Jaeb Theater at the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 N. MacInnes Place, Tampa.
Directed by Lucie Arnaz, LaRusch, as Lucy, guides us through the star's personal memories, including her 30-year television career and rare glimpses of her tempestuous marriage to Desi Arnaz.

'South Pacific' set to sail
Rodgers & Hammerstein's "South Pacific" continues through Sunday in Carol Morsani Hall at the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 N. MacInnes Place.
Set on a tropical island during World War II, the musical tells the romantic tale of two couples whose happiness is threatened by the realities of war. Songs include "Some Enchanted Evening," "There is Nothin' Like a Dame," and "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair."

Church's country concert
Rocky Morris, award-winning Christian country singer-songwriter from South Carolina, will be in concert at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at Sydney Baptist Church, 1510 Cre Road, Dover.
Morris has been sharing God's message in song for more than 20 years and has traveled throughout the United States and foreign countries.
