If you want to go to the Florida Strawberry Festival, this is your final chance for 2010.
The annual celebration of the area's biggest crop ends today after an 11-day run. Gates and the midway open at 10 a.m.
Here are some of the day's highlights:
Today is Mountain Dew Family Day; bring a Mountain Dew can to the festival and receive a voucher for $5 off the $25 wristband and ride most mechanical rides all day.
The youth beef breed show is at 11 a.m. in the CF Industries Agriculture Tent
Sara Evans performs at 3:30 p.m. at the GTE FCU Soundstage. Tickets are $15 and $20. There are about 3,000 free grandstand seats available to each headline show at the festival.
Lynyrd Skynyrd performs at 7:30 p.m. at the GTE FCU Soundstage. Tickets are $25 and $30.
The festival grounds are at 303 N. Lemon St., Plant City.
Admission prices at the gate are $10 for adults and $5 for youths. Children 5 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
