Elvis (almost) in concert
Billy Lindsey performs as Elvis at the Florida Opry variety show.
Lindsey, a Tampa resident, shares the bill with Pure Country Gold and Rafael & Co.
Doors and concession sales start at 5 p.m. The curtain for the three-hour show rises at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 each, and each paid admission includes a coupon good for a free buffet at CiCi's Pizza, 211 W. Alexander St.

Calling all cavemen
The Ice Age returns to Florida when the Tampa Bay Fossil Club presents the 23rd annual FossilFest in the Charles M. Davis Special Events Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4802 N. U.S. 301, Tampa.
There will be activities for children and adults to explain Florida's prehistoric past.
Vendors will be selling and trading fossils found in Florida and from across the world.
Hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, and children 12 and younger are admitted free.
Admission must be paid in cash. Parking is $5 per car or $10 per RV or bus.
Into the wild blue yonder

Coffee and fellowship will start the Plant City Garden Club's monthly meeting at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 2104 Mud Lake Road.

It's one-love at Forum
The Tampa Tennis Classic volleys into the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, at 7:30 p.m.
A celebrity-packed tennis lineup - including Andy Roddick, James Blake, Jim Courier, Vera Zvonareva, Victoria Azarenka and Rennae Stubbs - comes together to benefit Raymond James' Courier's Kids, an inner-city youth tennis program founded by Jim Courier that supports First Serve tennis programs.
