Members of the Academy of the Holy Names chapter of the National Honor Society participated in the Florida High School Academic Challenge on Feb. 20 at Saint Leo University.
The competition involved public and Catholic high school teams, with each group competing separately. Later in the day, competition ensued between the public school winner and the Catholic school winner.
Students enjoyed the competitive spirit of the day, and the South Tampa team performed well against the Catholic school competitors. Their instructor, Beth Sawyer, said, "The girls were wonderfully prepared and represented AHN admirably."
