Boys soccer: Land O' Lakes shuts out River Ridge

Land O' Lakes used an explosive second half to remain undefeated, defeating the River Ridge Knights 6-0 Monday night at Gator Stadium.

The Gators dominated the first half although they only led 1-0 at halftime thanks to a Josh Davis header with just under five minutes remaining.

The Gators poured the attack on early and often in the second half, however.

Just three minutes in, Land O' Lakes was awarded a penalty kick, and Miguel Lalliberte delivered giving the Gators a two goal lead. Just two minutes later Nicholas Kempton took a pass from Justin Lyles, and buried it past the Royal Knight goalkeeper for a 3-0 lead. After a Lyles goal made it 4-0, Davis finished out the scoring for the Gators, notching two more goals for the hat trick.
