Tampa Bay area resident's area waking up to overcast skies, low clouds and lots of moisture in the air, said News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann.
Cloudy skies, thanks to a stalled front that is slowly moving south across Florida, will likely stick around throughout the day today and possibly return in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, Spann said.
"It's not raining, there's just droplets of water in the air that you're running into on the way to work," Spann said.
The front is expected to cross the Tampa Bay area on Saturday, brining a 20 percent chance of rain.
The high today will reach 75 degrees, Spann said.
The high for Saturday and Sunday will be 76 with lows in the mid-50s, Spann said.
The area should break out of the cloudy pattern early next week, Spann said.
