PLANT CITY Jeffrey Charles and Gretchen Tuck of Cochran, Ga. have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Bailey Marie Tuck, to Jared Ethan Wilson, son of Richard L. and Carla Carreker of Barnesville, Ga. and Richard C. and Linda Wilson Jr., also Barnesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jackie Haynsworth Wilson and James Richard and Mary Ellen Wilson, Jr., Charlie and Jerri Tuck of Cochran, Ga. and the late Sally Chin of Sacramento, Calif.
The bride-elect is the great-granddaughter of the late Roberta B. Huskey, Carolyn Haynsworth and the late John T. Haynsworth Jr., the late James Richard and Beatrice Wilson Sr. all of Plant City, and Irma Ballengee of Rainelle, W.Va.
Tuck, a graduate of Bleckley County High School, moved to Milledgeville, Ga. to pursue a degree from Georgia College and State University where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She received her bachelor of arts in broadcast and electronic media and is currently a contract assistant director for Georgia Quick Start based in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Ken and Jackie Holloman, Wesley and Debbie Lynch of Milner, Ga. and the late Richard C. and Helen Wilson Sr. of Barnesville, Ga.
The groom-elect is the great-grandson of the late Louise Martin of Milner, Ga. and Annie Claude Lynch, also of Milner.
Wilson, a graduate of Lamar County Comprehensive High School, moved to Milledgeville after transferring from Gordon College to pursue a degree at Georgia College and State University. He is currently employed as North American sales supervisor for TopLine Corp. in Milledgeville.
The couple will reside in Milledgeville where they met nearly four years ago in a downtown restaurant where Jared hosted karaoke and trivia.
The wedding is planned for late April. Formal invitations have been sent.
