The Rays completed a historic season with their first-ever trip to the Worls Series, losing to the Philadelphia Phillies in five games.
The run was magical, but the ending not what Rays fans had hoped for.

The Rays have a good great bullpen, the Phillies have a better one. Maybe next year.

Thank you Rays for an AMAZING season. We are season ticket holders since day one and this was the BEST season ever!!!! Can't wait until new season starts. You guys made it special.

Absolutely amazing season the rays had! I have bean a fan since 2001! I am proud of them and hope we have somthing locally to celebrate their achievements. And at the very least AT LEAST WE BEAT BOSTON! It was great to send them home packing.

MY THANKS GO OUT TO THE ENTIRE RAYS ORGANIZATION,FROM THE VENDORS AT THE TROP TO ANDREW AT THE TOP OF THE LADDER.
THANKS FOR PROVIDING ME WITH THE MOST SPECTACULAR RIDE OF MY LIFE. I'VE BEEN A BASEBALL FANATIC SINCE 1951,AND NEVER HHAVE I FELT SO BLESSED AS I DO RIGHT NOW.WOULD I HAVE LIKED TO WIN IT ALL? OF COURSE? DO I FEEL LET DOWN? ABSOLUTELY NOT. BEING THE SECOND BEST BASEBALL TEAM IN THE WORLD IS WONDERFUL, AND WITH THEIR YOUTH,THE RAYS HAVE JUST BEGUN.
LASTLY, THANKS TO JOE MADDON.WHAT A TRUE GENTELMAN HE IS TO EVERYONE. HE'S A CLASS ACT IN EVERY RESPECT, AND THE PERFECT MANAGER FOR THIS YOUTHFUL GROUP.
THANKS FOR A MEMORABLE 2008 SEASON,AND I'M READY FOR 2009 TO BEGIN.

Amazing .. I am still very prowd of the Rays (and staff) for getting as far as they did .. many games we were out gunned but we came thru by never giving up

The Rays are a credit to baseball...a role model for the kids. Also, Rays, thanks for all the thrills! Can't wait for next season!!!!

Congrats to the Rays for a great season from a Phillies fan. It was really cool to see Boston and NY lose out to you guys, especially the Yankees not even making the playoffs.
Hope to see you guys and the Phils in the series again next year.
