I was surprised to learn ship crews are not armed. Only a fool would take off on such a journey without a weapon for which to defend oneself!

When did Maritimes rules change? I thought the penalty for piracy was always death.
Give them assault rifles, shotguns, or any automatic rifles confiscated from the drug dealers.
There are plenty of soldiers coming back from the war that will need jobs ..... they already have weapons training and willing to kill a person, they certainly could do it.

I would sincereley hope that the 2% that voted no, will not reproduce any offspring. You know, for the sake of the gene pool.

How about that specialty cruize that they were talking about with full autos? Just have one of their Maersk cargo boxes filled with guns and ammo and fully accessable to the cast and crew.

"Weapons trigger violence"???? No, people with ill intent trigger violence. Weapons are the means with which they do so. But then, that 3% that really believes guns are the problem and not the criminals are really not able to be reasoned with.
