We picked up another couple to bring with us to the polls. We feel that this is important because everyone has the right to vote. We got to our designated polling place on central avenue in st pete at a church. Walked up to the door, they checked to see which district we were in and pointed us to the correct line. They checked our ID and card, then sent us to a second step to "fill in the little circle" and sign again. I think this is an intelligent step as they told people if the circle was filled in improperly and explained the proper way for the vote to count. Gave us our two sided ballot (we didn't have a lot of extras in our area) and we went to our booths. My only complaint was the sturdyness of the tables - they were a little shakey but it worked. No problems with the scanners. 4 of us were in and out in less than 15 minutes. No lines, no problems, no rudeness, just one great experience.

I love the voting process. As long as everyone does their civic duty and votes according to their conscience, then democratically, the winner is chosen.
