Solid waste pickup will be on a delayed schedule this week. Waste will be collected on the day following the normally scheduled day. For example, pickups scheduled for Tuesday will take place on Wednesday, regular Wednesday pickups will take place on Thursday and so on.

Sarasota County government offices; county courts; the cities of Sarasota, Venice, North Port and the town of Longboat Key offices will reopen Wednesday.
