Tampa has extended hours for sandbag availability. Residents may pick them up until 8 p.m. today at three locations: Himes Sports Complex, 4500 S. Himes Ave.; Jackson Heights Playground, 3310 E. Lake Ave.; and the solid waste facility at 4010 W. Spruce St.
The sandbags are for Tampa residents, who must have proof of residence. Take a valid driver’s license, utility bill or electric bill.
