TAMPA - The reeling Tampa Bay Lightning may have to hit the road without two of their most productive forwards.
Center Steven Stamkos and winger Ryan Malone, who have combined for 33 goals this season, were both hurt during Wednesday night's home game against Edmonton.
Malone, who assisted on Tampa Bay's first goal against the Oilers, suffered a lower body injury in the first period and didn't return. Stamkos didn't return to the ice after suffering an upper body injury in the second period.
The Lightning, who depart Thursday for a six-game road trip, entered the matchup with only one win in their last six games.
