The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ticket office is gearing up for the playoffs.
The team announced today a new credit-card payment plan for potential playoff tickets, one that will not require season ticket holders to pay for a second home playoff game until the Bucs are guaranteed of playing in such a game.
"We have the best fans in the NFL and we knew this was the right thing to do after consideration of current economic conditions,'' said Jason Layton, Bucs director of ticketing and sales.
Season ticket holders were notified last week of the new option and the cost of this year's postseason tickets.
Last season, when season ticket holders were required to pay for two potential home games up front, the Bucs' struggled to sell out the NFC wild-card game against the Giants at Raymond James Stadium.
