It was revenge of the second-place finishers Sunday in the 26th St. Anthony's Triathlon in St. Petersburg.
Andy Potts of Colorado Springs took first place, beating out Terenzo Bozzone of Auckland, Australia with an unofficial time of 1:46 to Bozzone's 1:48. It was Potts' first St. Anthony's win after finishing second last year.
Sunday was Bozzone's first time competing in the St. Petersburg event.
Rebeccah Wassner of New York City, who also placed second last year, won in 2:03.04 unofficially.
She beat Sarah Groff of Colorado Springs, Col. who finished in 2:03.21.
It was the first time since 2005 that Groff competed in the St.Anthony's Triathlon.
