The Tampa Bay Buccaneers apparently saw something they liked in WR Kelly Campbell.
Though the team waived Campbell as injured a few days ago, he has been retained by the team and is now on injured reserve.
Players who are waived-injured automatically go on injured reserve if they clear waivers.
Campbell, 29, was signed by the Bucs as a free agent in the offseason. He originally joined the league in 2002 as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings.
Campbell spent the 2008 season with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, gaining 1,223 receiving yards to rank sixth in the league.
