Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Michael Clayton and tight end John Gilmore have been declared out for Sunday's game at Seattle.
Clayton (knee) will be inactive for the third consecutive week and Gilmore (head) also will not accompany the team to Qwest Field, where the Seahawks traditionally boast a significant home-field advantage due to a noisy stadium that wreaks havoc with opposing offenses trying to hear the signals.
After full participation in Thursday's practice, starting tight end Kellen Winslow was listed as questionable Friday with an injured knee. Also questionable are rookie wide receiver Sammie Stroughter (lower back), linebacker Geno Hayes (hamstring) and cornerback Derrick Roberson (groin).
Coach Raheem Morris watched Friday morning's practice with keen interest. During Sunday's TV broadcast of the Bucs-Jets matchup, CBS analyst Rich Gannon said he observed last Friday's practice at the team facility and commented that Buc players appeared to be going through the motions two days before a 26-3 loss to the New York Jets.
"That was a much better practice,'' Morris said Friday after the Bucs worked out in soggy conditions. "It's still not at a championship level, but it's a much better practice than the one we had last week.''
