The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' stunning victory against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday came at a cost.
Running back Earnest Graham and defensive lineman Jimmy Wilkerson were placed on injured reserve today with injuries sustained in the 20-17 overtime victory at the Superdome, Bucs coach Raheem Morris said.
Graham tore a ligament in his toe and Wilkerson tore an anterior cruciate ligament.
Graham had been playing mostly fullback the past two months, but handled the ball more the past couple of games. Against the Saints, he carried once for 8 yards and caught four passes for 43 yards before limping off the field during the overtime session.
Wilkerson led all Bucs defensive linemen with 66 tackles. His six sacks is second on the team behind Stylez G. White's 6.5.
