The University of South Florida's men's basketball nonconference schedule features home games against Virginia and Central Florida and tournaments in Charleston, S.C., and Las Vegas.
The Bulls, who were 9-22 last year, open at Southern Methodist on Nov. 13. They host Virginia in their home opener Nov. 16.
USF also has nonconference home games against Florida Atlantic, Hampton, Florida Gulf Coast, Central Michigan and UCF.
The Central Michigan game will mark the debut of highly touted point guard Anthony Crater, who transferred to USF from Ohio State in December. Crater had to sit out one season as a transfer and becomes eligible after the first semester. He will miss USF's first eight games, but will be available for USF's final three nonconference games before the Bulls enter Big East play.
The Big East Conference will announce dates for all league games in the next few weeks.
The Bulls will play three games in the Charleston Classic in South Carolina. The rest of the field: Davidson, LaSalle, Miami, North Carolina Wilmington, Penn State, South Carolina and Tulane.
