The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have promoted cornerback Kyle Arrington to their 53-man roster and released fellow cornerback Williams Middleton.
Middleton was picked up by the Bucs on waivers after NFL teams reduced their rosters to the 53-man limit on Saturday.
Arrington spent the bulk of the 2008 season on the Bucs practice squad and could be active for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys as a replacement for rookie E.J. Biggers.
Biggers has been nursing a sore shoulder and likely will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
