The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have $30 million of cap space entering the 2009 season, far more than any team in the NFL, according to a report on FOXSports.com.
The Web site said the Packers rank second in cap room with $17 million to spend, followed by Kansas City at $16 million and the Bears and Browns, each $15 million under the cap.
The Bucs have begun a massive rebuilding program after cutting five veterans in February, including perennial Pro Bowl linebacker Derrick Brooks. Only five players on Tampa Bay's 53-man roster on opening day are 30 or older.
