Gator Nation just opened a Rocky Mountain branch with the Denver Broncos' surprise first-round selection Thursday of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.
The good news: no change in team colors. The Broncos' newest fans can still cheer for the orange and blue.
But they apparently want to wear current Tebow garb, too, and demand is already high for his NFL jersey.
This despite a general feeling from NFL scouts and pundits that Tebow may have trouble at the pro level and criticism that Denver took a big risk by selecting the former Heisman Trophy winner with the 25th overall pick.
Doesn't matter to Tebow fans. The Broncos' may not have solidified their quarterbacking, but they picked a marketing miracle. No officials numbers are out, but the search term "Tim Tebow Broncos Jersey" was No. 6 on Google Trend's "Hot Search" list by 1 p.m. Friday.
NFLShop.com had the jerseys available for $79.99 within hours of the Broncos' pick.
One customer service representative at NFLShop.com said Friday afternoon that calls regard Tebow's jersey far exceeded inquiries for other products.
The replica jersey, made by Reebok, has quick-drying nylon mesh and is designed with screen-printed player and team graphics on the chest, back, sleeves and shoulders.
The website offers a disclaimer: "The player's number is subject to change and the jersey will not ship until the official number is issued."
However, there's a good chance Tebow will retain the No. 15 from his Gator days. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall wore No. 15 for Denver, but he was recently traded to the Miami Dolphins.

Replica jerseys for the Bucs' first-round pick, Gerald McCoy, are also available from the team's fan shop. It's also made by Reebok, and the price is $79.95. The website says jerseys won't be shipped until the player officials signs and number is assigned.
