Bucs public relations director Kamis leaving after 10 years

TAMPA --

Director of Public Relations Jeff Kamis is leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after 10 years with the organization.

Kamis, 37, said he plans to remain in the Bay area and pursue other opportunities.

Kamis was promoted to director of public relations in 2002. He also worked in the sports information department at the University of Florida.

"I dreamed of working in the NFL since I was a kid and it's been an unbelievable experience,'' Kamis said.

"As an organization, we accomplished a lot of great things. When I look at the people who have worked in our department and where they are now, it's a credit to the organization. I will cherish the lifelong relationships I've built through my time with the Bucs.''
