KEY STATS: Best season came in 2008 when he caught 67 passes for 1,055 yards as a sophomore. Production fell off last season as he finished with 38 receptions for 490 yards. Averaged 23.7 yards on 42 kickoff returns for the Illini.
NOTABLE: Served as team captain his final two seasons. His 3,613 all-purpose yards rank fourth on the school's all-time list. Was also recruited by FSU, Notre Dame and the University of Miami after coming out of Dunbar High in Washington, D.C.
