Florida may have defeated Miami (Ohio) in its season opener, but the manner in which it won left many Gators fans disillusioned - and South Florida fans thinking upset this week.
The Gators' 34-12 victory came in spite of eight fumbles, stagnant offense and several miscues on special teams, and dropped them four spots to No. 8 in the latest AP college football poll.
The Bulls, meanwhile, raced past Division I-AA Stony Brook 59-14, setting up Saturday's Bulls-Gators matchup in the Swamp.
For USF fans, the scenario is eerily similar to last year, when the Bulls - coming off a 59-0 win over Charleston Southern - traveled to Tallahassee and shocked Florida State, 17-7.
Can USF, a 16 1/2-point underdog, pull yet another upset against a state college power? Or will the Gators solve their problems and easily handle the Bulls?
