The Tampa Bay Lightning knocked off the Montreal Canadiens 4-0 at Bell Centre on Thursday, the Bolts' third consecutive preseason victory.
Dwayne Roloson stopped all 24 shots he faced in his final tune-up before the start of the regular season, while Steven Stamkos and Brett Connolly each scored two goals.
Stamkos scored two first-period goals, his first of the preseason, sandwiched around a key Montreal 5-on-3 power play for 1:54 that Tampa Bay successfully killed to give the Lightning a two-goal lead after the first period.
Connolly scored his second of the preseason at 16:43 of the second period and added his third with a power-play goal at 18:49 of the third.
Defenseman Victor Hedman played in place of Mattias Ohlund, who was held out as a precaution for a knee issue that flared up.
