For the second week, Boca Ciega held its opponent scoreless. This week the victory led to the Class 4A-District 9 championship.
With 8:16 left in the first quarter Boca Ciega's Orhian Johnson scored on a 1-yard run. Mundrae Francis followed Johnson's lead in the second quarter with a pair of rushing touchdowns from 86 and 23 yards. With the first half coming to a close Boca Ciega's Ja-Vonta Trotter returned a punt 68 yards for a touchdown - his second in as many weeks.
