THE DIFFERENCE: Jordan Fry caught a tipped pass, raced 56 yards for a touchdown, kicked the extra point and then added the decisive 24-yard field goal that was the difference in Bloomingdale's win.
GAME NOTES: Emotions played a big part of the fourth quarter. Midway through the fourth quarter, with Bloomingdale having a 2-point lead and facing fourth-and-4 on its own 19-yard line, King was penalized 5 yards, which resulted in a first down for Bloomingdale. King defensive lineman Dominique Carswell was ejected from the game and coaches were upset as King was assessed back- to-back unsportsmanlike penalties, bringing Bloomingdale from their own 19-yard line to the King 45-yard line. The penalties angered players who were assessed more penalties as the game went on. At the game's conclusion, King coach Earl Garcia III was escorted by sheriff's deputies as he left the field. He reportedly touched an official leaving the field at the game's conclusion.
STAT OF THE GAME: Bloomingdale scored 20 points in the second quarter.
