THE DIFFERENCE: Plant City was nearly unstoppable in the first half, as Raider running back Sirchauncey Holloway rushed 24 times for 245 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage. Holloway, just returning from a shoulder injury suffered in a game against Blake, dominated early by scoring three times, helping the Raiders take a 27-0 lead at the half.
GAME NOTES: Plant City quarterback Clinton Stearns was injured in the third quarter, and had to be taken to the hospital for X-rays on his arm. Wide reciever Cortez Hargett replaced Stearns, but didn't fare well, completing no passes with one interception. ... Raider running back Keith Dawson, also returning from an injury, had only one carry, but made the most of it, gaining 43 yards. ... Plant City DB Brian Goodman intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble. ... The Bulls sustained multiple injuries in the game, including their starting QB Jose Alvarez, and starting RB Jahmaal Jones.
