The Florida Athletic Coaches Association released its girls all-state soccer teams, and four Pasco County players made the list.

Hudson's Melissa Wysong and Gulf's Alyssa Goodwin are on the Class 4A team. River Ridge's Deana Rossi and Land O' Lakes' Amanda Goble made the 5A team.

Wysong, a senior midfielder/forward, had 11 goals and 10 assists this season.

Goodwin, a senior midfielder, was third on the Buccaneers in shots with 51 and had six goals, seven assists and 19 points.

Rossi, the Tribune's Pasco County Girls Soccer Player of the Year, had 29 goals, 13 assists and 107 shots.

Goble, a senior midfielder/defender, was a selection for the Tribune's Pasco County first team.

WILLIAMS SIGNS: Gulf running back David Williams has signed with Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College. Williams was Pasco County's second-leading rusher in 2007 with 2,092 yards and 25 rushing touchdowns. He also had 150 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

BRATCHER TO PHCC: River Ridge runner Kayla Bratcher will attend Pasco-Hernando Community College on a cross country scholarship, Royal Knights coach David Heywood said.

The two-year scholarship, which Bratcher signed Thursday while PHCC coach Jacki Wachtel watched, will cover Bratcher's books and tuition.

"She's always motivated to run," Heywood said. "You never have to ask her to do that."

Bratcher, an All-Sunshine Athletic Conference third-team selection and Pasco Tribune honorable mention in cross country, was also a track athlete, qualifying for the Class 3A-Region 2 meet in the 3,200 in April.

Bratcher joins a Conquistadors team that finished with the second-highest grade-point average in the nation among women's cross country squads, earning an All-Academic Team of the Year title. PHCC collected a 3.842 GPA, second to El Dorado, Kansas' Butler Community College, which earned a 4.0.
