THE DIFFERENCE: The Wesley Chapel running game was a riddle no one in a Sunlake uniform could solve. Wildcats running backs Kennan Reynolds and Hunter Joyer rushed for 152 yards and 127 yards, respectively. In all, Wesley Chapel amassed 314 rushing yards.

GAME NOTES: Wesley Chapel opened the game with an eight-play scoring drive that was dedicated to the run. Joyer capped it with a 13-yard scoring run. ... Wesley Chapel built a 14-0 advantage before Sunlake scored - on a 25-yard, Tommy Valez-to-Joe Connolly pass. ... Sunlake RB Mike Shaver gave the Wildcats defense fits as he ripped off six runs of 7 yards or more en route to a 19-carry, 95-yard night. He later scored on a 1-yard burst. ... Sunlake QB Tommy Valez completed 10 of 22 passes for 105 yards, one touchdown and one interception. ... Late in the third quarter and down 21-6, Sunlake got to the Wildcats 16, but a sack by Sebastian Pickney on fourth down ended the drive.

STAT OF THE GAME: Wesley Chapel's offense scored each of its five touchdowns on the ground. Reynolds (3 and 52 yards) and Joyer (13 and 14 yards) each had a pair, while quarterback C.J. West logged a 1-yard score.
