THE DIFFERENCE: Faith Baptist senior quarterback Aaron Despaw was the catalyst for the offense throughout the game. Trailing 29-14 late in the third quarter, the Eagles scored four unanswered touchdowns behind Despaw's 344 total yards of offense.

GAME NOTES: Despaw lit the scoreboard up with four touchdown runs on the night (14, 2, 20, 1) plus a 2-point conversion run. ... He was 13-of-24 for 258 yards through the air. ... Despaw also made an interception in the end zone to kill Providence's first drive of the game. ... The two other scores for the Eagles (3-1) came on Trevor Stuart's 28-yard run untouched up the middle and a 25-yard interception return in the fourth quarter by junior Nathan Bowling to secure the victory. ... The Knights were led by running back Josh Leigh, who had 28 carries for 180 yards during the game and three scores (1, 24, 5). ... The Knights (2-2) used a fake punt that resulted in a score when kicker and backup QB Brian Hubbart connected with receiver Wes Ferrer on a 56-yard strike with nine seconds to go in the first half.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Eagles probably could have scored more if not for the eight penalties resulting in 85 yards.
