Tyler Hartlage scored the winning goal 34 seconds into the second overtime Friday to give the Jesuit boys soccer team a 3-2 victory Friday night against Steinbrenner in the Class 4A-District 9 final.
Jesuit claimed its sixth consecutive district title.
The Tigers (24-4) defeated Steinbrenner (15-4-2) in last season's district final, 3-0.
Jesuit's Brett Durrance had two goals and assisted on Hartlage's winner.
After a throw-in, Durrance was facing away from the goal, and he got a touch on the ball but he did not shoot.
"I called for (Durrance) to leave it for me," Hartlage said. "And I thought, 'Just get it in the goal.' "
Jesuit outshot Steinbrenner, 11-7.
Derek Wilkosz and Connor Fleming had goals for Steinbrenner, a second-year school.
Fleming's goal skipped off the goal post to tie the game at 2 with 6 minutes remaining in regulation.
