The Tribune's All-Hillsborough County boys soccer team was selected by correspondent Scott Purks, based on regular-season and postseason performances. The various all-conference teams selected by the county's head coaches were strongly considered. The Tribune's player and coach of the year will be announced at the annual Parade of Athletes banquet May 23.
First team
F - Jordan See, Gaither, Sr.: Helped lead team to state final four despite hamstring injuries late in season.
F - Zach Wheeler, Gaither, Sr.: Scored 24 goals and had 15 assists for high-powered offense.
F - Tevin Gage, Bloomingdale, Sr.: Heavily marked, Gage still scored 26 goals with six assists.
MF - Tyler Hartlage, Jesuit, Sr.: High school All-American finished with 21 goals and 10 assists.
MF - Brett Durrance, Jesuit, Jr.: Recorded 31 goals and 15 assists to lead Tigers.
MF - Joey Perfetto, Newsome, Sr.: Had 19 goals and 19 assists, always at the forefront of the action.
MF - David Eisenhauer, Durant, Sr.: Heart and soul of Cougars, led team with 14 assists.
D - Brian Steel, Tampa Prep, Sr.: Quick, with great ball skills; held Terrapins defense together.
D - Chase Goodwin, Jesuit, Sr.: Solid force as a swimmer and a soccer player.
D - Jose Salgado, Plant City, Sr.: Made life difficult for many offensive threats.
GK - John Nardozzi, Gaither, Sr.: Had 11 shutouts and 90 saves through a consistent season.
UT - Connor Bass, Durant, Sr.: Game-winning goals in region semifinals, finals and state semifinal.
