Robert Davis rushed for 268 yards and three touchdowns to help the Patriots snap a two-game losing streak. Davis, the leading rusher in Hillsborough County, has 1,234 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Bradenton Christian quarterback Ryan Cobb opened the game by completing 10 of his first 12 passes for 105 yards in the first quarter. Cobb drove his team the length of the field for the game’s first score, a 12-yard touchdown pass to Austin Ferrer.
Davis responded with a 60-yard touchdown run for the Patriots.
In the second quarter, Davis scored his second touchdown, on a 77-yard run.
Davis would add a touchdown run of 89 yards, and Deuce Gruden connected on a pair of scoring passes. The second of two was 10 yards to Patriots tight end Dominiq Sicardo. It has been an emotional week for Sicardo, whose mother died a few days ago.
Carrollwood Day returns to action next Friday, when it travels to Skyway Park to take on Cambridge Christian at 7 p.m.
