Cambridge Christian (5-2) returned two punts and one fumble recovery for three of its five touchdowns in a win against Keswick Christian.
After an early Crusaders 37-yard field goal from Ryan Broaderick, the Lancers captured the lead with a 30-yard pass from quarterback Phillip Johnson to Demarcus Faison. The Lancers would not relinquish the lead, even with the Crusaders threatening to come back with 19 points in the fourth quarter.
Senior running back Daniel Hamilton extended the Lancers lead to 20 points in the beginning of the fourth quarter with a forced fumble and recovery that he returned for 60 yards and his second touchdown of the night. Keswick pulled within seven of Cambridge late in the fourth quarter, with quick scores on a 17-yard run by quarterback Taylor Angell and a 73-yard punt return by senior Jacob Bouvier.
After Keswick could not recover the ensuing onside kick, Hamilton sealed the win for the Lancers with a 55-yard touchdown run that put them up by 14 with just over a minute to play.
