Hillsborough's ground attack dominated King from kickoff until finish in a home victory.
The Terriers didn't attempt a pass on their first possession, as running back Anthony Brown dominated the Lions' front seven, capping the drive with a 5-yard touchdown.
"This is the last game of our district schedule," Hillsborough coach Earl Garcia said. "Our goal was to win them all, but we went 5-1 … it's a tough district. I'm proud of the kids."
Hillsborough quarterback Jeremy Agrinzonis threw only six passes in the opening half as the Terriers racked up 205 rushing yards en route to a 22-0 lead at the break. King struggled offensively, gaining just 62 yards in the first half. Both teams fumbled twice and threw one interception.
The Hillsborough defense limited King quarterback Greg Windham to 12-for-22 passing for 148 yards and one interception in the game.
"There aren't too many Greg Windham shutouts," Garcia said. "I'm proud of those guys."
Hillsborough has a bye next week before closing the regular season at home against Chamberlain. King hosts Armwood next week.
