Sickles hadn't scored a touchdown in three games coming into its matchup with Strawberry Crest, but that ended with a win over the Chargers.
Gryphons quarterback Nate Mills connected with Balal Salat for a 37-yard touchdown with 7:50 left in the first quarter to snap the scoreless streak.
Mills would connect with Salat six more times in the first half for a total of 100 yards and set up several more scores.
Sickles was shut out by Brandon, Armwood and Jefferson in successive weeks. On this night, it turned the table.
Sickles' defense held the Chargers to less than 100 yards of total offense and recorded six sacks. Strawberry Crest was sent backward on 8 of 37 plays.
LaDondra Crittenden and Jakarius Crittenden ran in touchdowns of 1 and 39 yards, respectively. Ray McCloud scored the other touchdown with a 60-yard run. McCloud finished the game with 7 carries and 96 yards to lead all rushers.
Mills only played the first half and completed 7 of 11 passes for 146 yards.
