Paced by senior Darius Page, Wharton outscored Bloomingdale and stayed alive for a Class 8A-District 6 playoff berth.
Page carried the ball 30 times for 263 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 12 on the season.
Quarterback Chase Litton passed for 263 yards and threw for two scores. Litton, a sophomore, now has 1,178 yards for the season.
Bloomingdale’s Eugene Baker, who entered the game as the county’s second leading rusher with 933 yards, added 133 on 33 carries.
Bloomingdale’s Cody Crouse was 13 of 25 passing for 234 yards and connected with Adam Posateri for a 61-yard touchdown.
The Wharton-Alonso game on Nov. 4 will decide the runner-up spot in 8A-6 and a postseason berth.
Plant has already clinched the district title.
Wharton hosts Blake next Friday.
Bloomingdale is off next week before playing host to Plant, and then Newsome to finish the season.
