Offense was on display as the Lancers defeated the Crusaders in a shootout at Skyway Park.
Seffner posted the first points of the game with a 52-yard TD pass from quarterback Tanner Richardson to Robbie Shell.
Not to be outdone, Cambridge had a big pass play of its own on the ensuing drive. Lancers quarterback Phillip Johnson connected with Robbie Robertson for a 68-yard touchdown pass.
The following two drives from both teams resulted in touchdowns. Neither team seemed to be able to pull away until two costly Cambridge turnovers ended in Seffner touchdowns in the final 2 minutes of the first half.
Those turnovers cost Cambridge the momentum, and the Lancers found themselves trailing 31-22 at the half. However, running back Daniel Hamilton got the Lancers back on track in the second half and ended the game with 195 total yards and three touchdowns.
