McKinson Souverain rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another to lead Bethune-Cookman to a 24-14 win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday. The win tied Coach Alvin B. Wyatt with Rudolph Matthews for the most career victories in B-CU history with 83.
The Wildcats (6-2, 3-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) have won five of their past six. The Aggies (3-7, 1-5) have lost seven of their past eight.
Souverain, who rushed for 120 yards on 27 carries, scored on a 27-yard run at 11:32 of the third quarter. It came at the end of a six-play, 61-yard drive, giving the Wildcats a 17-7 advantage.
The Aggies, who had 103 yards on the ground and 60 through the air, pulled closer with 6:00 left in the third quarter when Herbert Miller passed 2 yards to Wallace Miles for a touchdown.
Souverain scored on a 7-yard run with 8:35 left in the game, capping a six-play, 51-yard drive.

LAFAYETTE, La. - Tyrell Fenroy scored three touchdowns and broke 1,000 yards rushing for the fourth consecutive season to help Louisiana-Lafayette beat Florida International.
Fenroy ran for 81 yards on 22 carries, which put him over 1,000 yards on the year for the fourth straight time - a feat only six other players in Division I-A history have matched. The Louisiana-Lafayette tailback now leads active NCAA players with 4,322 career rushing yards.
The Golden Panthers (3-5, 2-2 Sun Belt Conference) jumped out to a 7-0 lead on T.Y. Hilton's opening kickoff return for a 90-yard touchdown.
Fenroy scored from 3 and 4 yards out in the second, and Lalaf Gerren Blount returned a fumble for a score to help the Ragin' Cajuns (5-3, 4-0) build a 35-14 lead at halftime.

TALLAHASSEE - James Meade kicked a 39-yard field goal with 16 seconds left to lift Morgan State to a win over Florida A&M.
Meade's kick gave Morgan State (6-3, 4-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) its fourth consecutive victory.
The Bears' Devan James rushed for 99 yards, scoring on a 4-yard run in the second quarter, to increase his season total to 1,077 yards.
Morgan State held Florida A&M (6-3, 2-3) to 137 yards, including 1 yard in the fourth quarter.
Morgan State never trailed, taking the lead with 11 minutes left in the first quarter on Meade's 40-yard field goal.
After James' touchdown gave the Bears a 10-0 lead, Florida A&M scored on a 3-yard pass from Curtis Pulley to Mykel Benson.
Florida A&M's Trevor Scott kicked a 37-yard field goal in the third quarter to tie it.
